How to Destroy a Hard Drive!

If you want to know how this nice photo came about, read my short guide about How to Destroy a Hard Disk, especially the bit about using a sledgehammer;-).

The hard drive in question was an old 2.5" 20 GB Fujitsu drive (actually the one I yanked out of my ancient Creative Jukebox MP3 player). The smaller debris lying around the drive are bits and pieces from the shattered platter. Also, note how one of the read/write heads is turned up to a rather sickening 90-degree angle.
