Hanuman 2018

Back to the Indian subcontinent for two months in Spring 2018.

With Sri Lanka, Mumbai, the Saurashtra peninsula in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Amritsar and Delhi on the menu, we had many sweet experiences sprinkled with some sour ones.

Much of the pleasure of being in India is wondering at unusual sights, marvelling at the colourful streets or discovering forgotten trades. Here are some pictures of what caught our attention during this trip.

On the road to Veraval (Gujarat).
Inside a colourful workshop on the streets of Mumbai. One of the ubiquitous lorries in India: “Horn please” before overtaking!
