England
(vero;2024-July-25)
Slowly but surely, we are getting around the country of England. We have been a lot of times in the South, but many sites north of London are still to be discovered.
North England is a nearly blank space on our map...
- London and around: this is Greater London, the city and everything within the M25 belt.
- South East England: includes the counties of Berkshire, Hampshire, Kent, Oxfordshire, Surrey, East Sussex, West Sussex and the Isle of Wight.
- South West England: includes the counties of Bristol, Bath, Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and the Isles of Scilly.
- East Anglia: includes the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk.
- The Midlands: this covers two regions, the West and the East Midlands.
- West Midlands: includes the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire.
- East Midlands: includes the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.
- North England: this covers three regions, Yorkshire and the Humber, the North West and the North East. It is also where Hadrians' Wall is located, running through the North West and the North East.
- Yorkshire and the Humber: includes the counties of East Riding of Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire, North Yorkshire and South Yorkshire.
- North West: includes the counties of Cheshire, Cumbria and Lancashire.
- North East: includes the counties of Durham, Northumberland and finally Tyne and Wear.
