The Midlands

The Midlands cover two regions, the West and the East Midlands.
- West Midlands: includes the counties of Herefordshire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Midlands and Worcestershire.
- East Midlands: includes the counties of Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire and Rutland.
We have not seen much of this part of England so far.
- But we visited Lincoln, spent a week in Lincolnshire in 2024 and
- Made a foray into Warwickshire to visit the English Heritage site of Kenilworth Castle.
